Principal's Message
Shankar Paudel, Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians/Students/Visitors,

I feel honoured and privileged to welcome you all to Hilary.

As we get on into a new journey of growth and erudition, we are more than certain that with your continuous support, we will be able to take our school to the next level and yes, unconditionally different than others. At our end, we shall continue working with you for the best interests of our beloved students and our community at large.

We always believe that our success is measured by the placement of our products in the 21st century’s competitive market fully equipped with core moral values along with digital literacy and global citizenship. Our students will have the skills of creativity and imagination; communication and collaboration; critical thinking and problem solving, and student leadership above all. They leave Hilary as literate, numerate, well-educated citizens who have the aptitude, confidence and individuality to make a positive contribution to our society.

Our staff and administration are always committed to helping each and every student work to their full potential. Our school strives in placing a high emphasis on balanced literacy, numeracy, inquiry-based learning, and outdoor education. As well as attending to the needs of students who are experiencing difficulties in certain subject areas, and for students who are achieving above grade levels. The proper care we provide to individual student at school makes us different and we are always committed for it at any cost.

Nothing can be more effective in inspiring the students and sustaining their achievements in the school than celebrating the students’ accomplishments. Celebrating success in the school system regularly breeds more success. It invites every student, teacher, and parent to join the team to celebrate improvements in academics, character, and leadership.

As you all may be aware, in addition to the Nepal Government’s curriculum, Hilary offers a variety of language art classes like French, Chinese, and Sanskrit (proposed). Apart from these Hilary has been incorporating Music/Fine Arts/Dance as CCA rather than ECA on regular basis. Understanding the value of the children’s expression of their feelings we will be introducing Theatre Arts classes too from the upcoming session.

As the principal of Hilary, I am more than willing to do all it takes to make our school an outstanding institution, where our students are nurtured through mind, body, and soul.  Such a mission will not be possible to accomplish without the full support and cooperation of our valued parent body and community at large.

We are continually very proud of our history, our values, our outstanding facilities and the high standards achieved by our students. In this go, I look forward to serving your children all the way from their toddler hood to their youth.

You are always welcome to school with your constructive and positive feedback.
